We are happy to announce that the Hard Rock Café at Foxwoods (350 Trolley Line Blvd, Mashantucket, CT 06338) will be our selected venue for the 3rd Annual Northeast Shave Meet Up. The event will be held from 11:00am to 3:30pm on Saturday, September 24, 2016. This will allow folks to continue their stay at the casino in whatever manner they choose and with whomever they choose to.

The Hard Rock Café has a private room off of the main dining area for us to spread out and enjoy a meal, some drinks and mingling amongst our likeminded wet shaving friends. The room will allow us ample space to sit and talk before and after the meal and even allow for an area to display product or conduct a raffle if we so choose this year.

In order to secure the room, an agreement with Hard Rock must be entered and in order to do this, we will need a financial commitment from everyone who will be in attendance. The commitment is $28 per individual and is actually the meal charge inclusive of tax and tip. Meaning, the only additional expense to you at the meet up will be what you desire for adult beverages and purchase of shaving supplies, souvenirs, etc. It is important that you reserve your spot as soon as you can and before the deadline of July 22, 2016. We need 40 commitments to have an agreement drafted and if we don’t reach 40, the event will likely be cancelled. The private room holds up to 70 and therefore it’s in your best interest to reserve your spot now. After consultation with the mod team, the best course of action for interested individuals is to join the dedicated Facebook group (https://www.facebook.com/groups/460926704077335/). Here you will find the information required to make your decision and your commitment. If you are interested in committing but simply cannot use Facebook, please PM me and we can figure out a solution.

The menu chose is the “Alternative” shown below in picture form. This is the most diverse menu option and it actually is a cost savings over last year’s menu. Adult beverages will be for sale, the group will have a wait staff that will get drinks from the bar and the tabs for that can be settled individually or by table, depending on the size of each table.

Once the commitment deadline has past we will be able to move further with ideas regarding raffles, giveaways, demonstrations, etc. Having an accurate headcount will help planning these things.

Lastly, your commitment is final. We simply cannot offer refunds once we have entered an agreement with the Hard Rock Café. This event is for everyone and no one makes a dime off of this. In that regard, no one should have to eat cost because someone else decides they cannot make the event.
