WSJ article on safety razors worth reading
Post Body
Over the weekend this article showed up in WSJ. This is outside of their paywall. Is this some sign of green shoot prodding people for people outside of 0.0001% who wet shave to dip their toes into wet shaving? I am not sure but here some key takeaways:
- High-end razors can be divided into safety razors and multi-blade cartridges
- Many expensive models use generic Gillette cartridges, relying on special handles to distinguish themselves
- The Bolin Webb X1 Carbon Razor and Stand was not worth the money and felt awkward to use
- Safety razors are a good option for those who want a close shave and are willing to spend a bit more money
The owner of Pasteur's Pharmacy was quoted in the article. While you are at it - check out the comments section too.
