I found this razor on my lunch while browsing a local antique store. It appears to be a double ring, but I wanted to post here to try and get a confirmation. In my research, I haven't seen reference to a gold model. The razor also lacks any ID as being a Gillette model. There is some type of engraving that is very faint around the handle ( I can't make it out though). There also appears to be a serial number of 2151 1 on the inside barrel handle. The first number may not be a 2 as that is very faint also. Teeth are slightly bent but none are missing
Check out the pics and let me know your thoughts. https://goo.gl/photos/PNQ4Uwsw2xhFL8e69
I haven't cleaned the razor yet, still at work. I can take more pics if a certain area needs photographing
I'm not upset if it's not a double ring, it was worth the gamble.
edit: upon closer inspection the handle seems to show "NOV 1504" there is other wording before it but I can't make it out. What I can make out is super faint though, need to get one of those jewelers things
edit 2: added some cleaned up pics to the album
