When left to my own devices, I can be a fairly messy person. I can't stand the mess, but I have trouble finding the time to clean up after myself, before jumping immediately onto the next task at hand.
I have noticed that since I took up wet shaving, it is far more important to me to have a clean and tidy "shave space" (read: tiny bathroom). I keep the area much cleaner and tidier than I used to, and this habit is beginning to spill out into other areas of my life.
Also, I'm far less likely to run late because I carve time out for myself to go through my routine, which keeps me on my timeline for the day.
So, did your habits change at all when you started wet shaving? Did this activity/hobby affect your life at all, aside from always having a beautiful BBS mug?
