I just received a full assortment of samples from Maggards, La Shaving Co., and B&M. Aside from the difficulty of figuring out which to begin with, I am trying to figure out how to best utilize the samples without having random bowls with random soaps strewn about my shaving palace (tiny bathroom). With softer soaps like Maggards and La Shaving, perhaps it would be best to simply smear a bit into my palm and follow /u/minimalisto's methods from there, but when I tried B&M's Roam, it certainly seemed to benefit from being mashed into a bowl. Am I missing something? How do you all explore the vast galaxy of soap samples that are available to you? Any and all advice (however seemingly obvious) would be greatly appreciated.
