First shave- 12:30am
- Pre-shave - Shower, HTGAM Mentha Lime soap, 3p
- Brush - WD Silvertip
- Soap - B&M Roam
- Razor Ariel 6/8 hollow
- Post Alum, D.R. Harris Windsor splash
This was the last shave I will be able to get out of the sample of Roam that /u/MrTooNiceGuy generously passed along. At first I wasn't sure how I felt about the scent, and now I am absolutely in love with it, and it performed amazingly as well.
I think my skill set would have grown fairly quickly if I posted a shave video a couple weeks ago. Someone would have told me "You shave too slow. The hesitation is what's causing your issues. Your lather is too wet, whip it up and slap it on your face. You know you can use your left hand to shave with too."
The shave went great, BBS on cheeks, but didn't do too much damage to the stubble on my neck, and my skin was getting a bit irritated with my left hands ineptitude so I packed up and called it a night.
I woke up this morning and decided that my neck wasn't clean enough. I rinsed off to wet the beard, then cleaned it up with some Arko cream (for speed lathering), and my MR6B with a brand new Gillette Bleue extra blade in it.
Two shaves in the same day, my skin and I are happy campers.
