I would actually encourage people to get going first with a more minimal build or live Vanlife in another van temporarily to get a feel for what you “really” want and need. I say this because everyone I see build first ends up telling me what they didn’t need and never use and wish they had or hadn’t built. Experience is a great teacher so getting started has its benefits.
