Looking for a good resource to get the feel of what a town out west looked in the late 1800โs
Post Body
So like so many people out there, I would like to write a western but I would also like to have a sense of what the west looked like that is not just watching Stagecoach and Ox-Bow incident for references. Like where do buildings go, how far are farms from the town itself, where does water come from? All the questions the viewer doesnโt have to ask but I end up asking as I set pencil to paper. Anyone have any resources they can point me to?
