I was on my way to Austin's for some delicious ice cream and took this pic.
As a kid this place seemed huge. We had a family reunion there for several years and I remember having so much fun.
It's also the place I learned to love roller coasters. I was so afraid of them and finally got coerced by my cousins to ride the Big Dipper and I loved it. Afterward I was watching it go around the track and you could see the track kind of shake and I thought, "if I'm going to die on a roller coaster, it would be this one and I wasn't afraid and liked riding it so why be afraid of any others?" 🤣
That's some kid logic right there!
