I was dancing with some friends last night and we decided for a song to switch parts for fun, and I thought "oh well I know how to lead the patterns, so I just follow whatever the leader does? I should be able to figure out what pattern is happening and then just like, do what I see followers do all the time" thinking it'd be not easy but like, manageable

it was the trippiest experience of my life trying to shut down my muscle memory and focus on what the hell was going on, kinda a good exercise in seeing how well I truly understand these patterns (spoiler alert: not well lol)
