An actor in the likeness of Sun Yat Sen bikes into frame, before stopping. The film is in black and white, and scored with a fast and poppy swing version of the March of the Volunteers. He stops at the edge of a rail, before stopping and kicking down the kickstand. He says something. The film is a silent film so nothing comes out. A caption card:

Imperialism? It isn’t cool. Next time, try National Liberation instead of collaboration.

He then gets back onto the bike as the score switches to a jazzy version of I Have A Gun, and does several cool tricks in the obstacle course before the film runs out.

“Why didn’t you put on the next reel?” Asks Madame Sun.

The editor stares blankly at her. Enrique’s stare is still at the screen, as if trying to comprehend what he just saw.

“Madame Sun, with all due respect all all relevant fervor for the coming National Revolution, that was the worst thing I’ve ever seen. I don’t want to work on it anymore. I beg of you, please.”

Madam Sun takes out her cigarette holder and sighs. “What about it is offensive?”

“Uh. Everything. Enrique, back me up here.”

“Mis ojos… que…?”

“See, he agrees, I think. How are his lessons going, by the way?”

“They’re alright, we can’t get him to stop lapsing into Spanish in the middle of conversation, though. Listen, you just edit together these reels into something exciting, we’ll see if it’s any good later.”

“Mmmm. Fine…”

My goal as 2ic will be to write posts which are less silly than that but still achieve a goal of agitating in the name of the National Revolution, thus allowing Panzer to focus on more important things while I handle swaying the masses, which should hopefully be mostly low-stress.
