Friends, Canadians, countrymen, the hour is upon us, our enemies circle around infesting the good populace of the world with Syndicalism and Totalism.

Within the current Canadian political climate, two giants stand tall, the Liberals led by King and the Conservatives led by Bennett. While Bennett was forced out in 1931 despite the support of King George V, the Conservatives have managed to poll relatively well compared to the Liberals despite King's proactive moves to combat the remnants of the Great Depression and Black Monday. However, the rise of three local political parties in the West has seen the Liberal outlook for the upcoming election begin to dwindle. The Nationalist Party led by Henry Stevens is set to easily win the riding of Kootenay East in British Columbia, while other contests by the Nationalists seek to eat up the Liberal's lead in provinces all across Canada. Further East the Social Credit Party is set to sweep away many Liberal ridings in the province of Alberta, weakening the Liberal's hold over the West. In addition to Social Credit and the Nationalists, the Cooperative Commonwealth Federation also threatens King's hold not only on the Prairies, but the rest of Canada with the CCF potentially drawing enough votes to see the Conservatives win ridings that were previously not in play.

With the Federal Elections finally done, it seems that Mackenzie King - though battered - has managed to barely managed to retain a majority in the House of Commons, allowing for King to continue serving Canada for the next five years alone. However, out of respect of the C.C.F. (who managed to sway large portions of dissatified Liberals), King has proposed a coalition government with James Woodsworth who agreed after a series of back-door discussions with Liberal politicians on Parliament Hill.
