Our two nations are extremely close, we would like to do what we can to keep that closer! Recently, as Colombia may be aware, the Dutch have sold us the ABC Islands! We were curious if Colombia is one such nation that is interested in recognizing this as Venezuelan! Our hopes and goals align almost perfectly with the Centre-Left Government of President Alfonso López Pumarejo, both of us being Social Democrats that are more than interested in the decolonization of our continent!

We hope with this recognition (that will not invoke Colombia into anything) can and will be the first step into moving into closer and far better relations together!

We hope to work together not only in this but generally all other affairs!

Moving on from this, we would love to increase trade and political ties as well as allowing a joint movement area. We are very interested in opening a unified customs-program between Colombia and Venezuela, we'd love to expand that with you in our next state visit!

Our hope is our two nations moving much closer together, much more than before.
