With the continued development of not only aerial aircraft, but the increasing range and firepower of enemy bombers, it has seemed traditional recourse against such aerial threats have become at least partially outdated as airplanes increasingly gain the power to penetrate friendly airspace, complete their mission, and then begin a process of withdrawal before friendly interceptors can begin to conduct an interception course, let alone reach the target attitude. While for a good portion of German industry is relatively dispersed behind allied lines where enemy bomber-escort packs can not reach, or where interception is easier to achieve, a not no insignificant portion of German industry and prowess rests in the Ruhr which lies in range of both French bombers, but their fighter escort as well. If Germany is to intercept this threat to the German war economy, it must either crush the French Air Force (a task that may not work considering a lack of information on the French procurement of aluminum and rubber) or modernize current interception tactics to account for not only high-and-quick attitude bombing, but night time raids as well.
However, the answer for Germany is not only available, but sufficiently developed to provide a quick implementation: carrots >!RADAR. While there are several issues that need to eventually be rectified in the German Aerial Defense of the homeland (primarily concerning accurate interception in bad weather or at night), RADAR will the first step to patching up German airspace by allowing for intercepts to be achieved when either visual contact with the enemy has not been made through the use of guided interception (in low visibility conditions) but also track the speed, height, size and orientation of enemy formations to not only provide for an accurate interception, but an interception that can be adjusted to better counter enemy formations with 'minimal' delay. As such, a series of low and high powered radar stations will be established in Western Germany, Heligoland, Schleswig-Holstein and Bavaria to make the promises of RADAR into reality. To help fool NATO about increased German interception capabilities,!> a national campaign endorsing the increased consumption of carrots will be done in order to improve German eyesight against those perky French bombers. Its hoped this campaign will not only improve German eyesight, but the average health of the population as well.
