Post Body

José Díaz, President of the Republic, Chairman of the Revolution within the Worker's Front, etc etc. Gives a brief speech on the matter of the most recent laws passed, decriminalizing things such as homosexuality and transsexuality, and increasing protections for both within society.

"I want you all to listen close; Love is what makes us human. What makes us alive. What reactionaries lack. Love is not just between family members and men and women; Love can really, be between anyone, and gender roles are a tool used to try to oppress us; to turn us against ourselves. I truly do not care if you are a man who has been trapped all these years in a woman's body, or vice versa; or if you love only men as a man, or only women as a woman, or even both at the same time. I can show love to you, all the same. You are no different to me or from me in these ways, because we are not united by these things, we are united in comradeship. In a shared yearning for freedom. In a communal desire for a better world. And if you cannot show someone love, because they do not love who you want to force them to, we will see how committed you really are to love."
