In exchange for permission to use the Bosporus for Reichspakt naval vessels, the German Empire has arranged for the tenative sale of two of our modernized Weltkrieg-era capital ships to the Ottoman Empire; either the Bayern-class battleships SMS Sachsen and Baden or the Mackensen-class battlecruisers SMS Mackensen and SMS Prinz Eitel Friedrich. In addition, we agree to providing greater technical assistance and additional licenses to produce German-designed aircraft in Turkey. We hope this agreement will bring greater fraternity between our two peoples, allies in the previous war and still amorous in the current one.
