Following the outbreak of the Second Weltkrieg and the heavy fighting not only suffered along the joint Commune-German border but also in the speed-bump state once formally known as 'Belgium', it seems the Krauts are in quite a pickle. Following an increased under the table outreach between the German Empire and the exiled members of the Entente, it has been agreed to host high level talks between Canadian and German diplomats in the American city of Philadelphia with both sides unwilling to agree to having the conference in either Canada proper or mainland Germany.

Treaty of Philadelphia

Preamble: To provide everlasting peace between the peoples of the Reichspakt and Entente Cordiale, we hereby state the following:

1. Official Reichspakt recognition and support for the Federal government under President Henry A. Wallace as being the one and only legitimate government of the United States of America.

2. To foster cooperation, the Entente Cordiale and the Reichspakt agree to future cooperation in the fields of military and civilian research and development in order to technologically surpass the Third Internationale (NATO/OTAN) on the field of battle as well as domestically.

3. Should the Entente join the war against the Third Internationale in the near future, the German Empire ascents to, and will recognize, the reformation of the previously exiled governments in Europe proper, with the European borders being recognized as they were stipulated in the 1921 Peace Treaty.

4. Following the reconquest of France - should it occur - a plebiscite will be held in Nancy (Nanzig) in order to determine its future.

5. The Principality of Monaco shall be reestablished by the French Republic following the recovery of the French mainland by French Republican forces.

6. The Entente Cordiale and Reichspakt agree to mutually cooperate and affirm the mutual kinship and brotherhood between their two nations.
