Spurred by King Edward's recent taking up of boxing as a past time, Collins would like to propose a boxing match between himself and the King. The great thing about boxing is that there are a ton of different narratives that can be gleaned from it. We can tell the UoB and hardcore Catholics that this is a symbolic fight against British imperialism. We can tell the Unionists and the Canadian government that this is a brilliant example of Canadian-Irish cooperation and friendship that ought to never be spoiled by Ulster nationalism.

We propose a match in Canada. Collins will take extreme security measures to make it impossible for anyone to assassinate him on the way there or back, including a healthy perimeter around him at all times with no unauthorized people allowed, his own private boat to Canada that is to be thoroughly checked for explosives, lack of exposure to open air environment, and complete body checks for weapons for all spectators at the boxing stadium it is taking place in, and we ask Canada to contribute security assistance as well. The King gets to choose the venue since he would need whatever home field advantage he can get.

This match will be well publicized in Ireland, especially Ulster. It will be a fair fight, with multiple rounds and stuff like that. No very hard noggin blows because we don't want to incapacitate our leaders.

We would also like to take this in person opportunity to discuss the long term future of our relationship and the Ulster situation in particular, given that Canada is perhaps the only country on Earth that would even have an incentive to help the Ulster rebels.
