SpainCatalonia, Late May 1937.
Herman and Silva are in big coats and walk through the rainy streets. It is a miserable day. Well, Silva thinks so, Herman always liked the rain. It's always so calm, nobody's around, all you can hear are your footsteps, the patter of the rain, the occasional rumble of thunder. It's nice. Calm. Other people may find the Rainbow at the end happy, but the rainbow is just a reminder of the fact that other people are happy and Herman is not. No, the rain is the best thing that can happen to Herman, many days.
What were we doing? Oh, right. Walking through the streets.
There's a certain bar in this city, small place, not very noisy, a nice big awning so you can sit outside even in the rain. Around a big table are several members of splitoff factions from the Worker's Front. Herman and Silva shake out their coats and take a seat as the conversations at the table went silent.
"Comrades." Says Silva, removing some envelopes from his coat pocket.
"Comrade."
"The Spanish Worker's Front would like to commend you on your organizing and actions, and say you are right; we have been preaching for too long. Action does not come just from telling people."
Herman takes a moment to also take out some envelopes from his coat pocket while everyone processes that.
"You are free to continue to be angry at us for our inaction; however, we have plans which are already rolling into place, now. We would like your assistance in the endeavor:"
The envelopes are handed over, and the contents are fanned out.
"There will be a general strike all across Catalonia, and we plan to try to block off police access to large parts of Barcelona, although we hope that we will be able to also achieve similar gains in other cities across Catalonia. In addition, we hope that this will inspire others all across Spain to no longer fear the White Terror. We are not only willing to support your organizations in this endeavor if you so choose, but also we will support them in future or current undertakings before and after the strike. Even if you refuse this backing, we still want you to be aware of this and we expect you to support the striking workers by any means."
"What do you say, comrades?"
