Citing the indefinite deferment of payments on loans given to both the British Empire during the Weltkrieg as well as the fact that Canada is - technically - the successor state to the British Empire, Norman Armour - US Ambassador to Canada - has relayed a message from the President, requesting that Canada begin to immediately repay the war debts incurred by the British Empire during the Weltkrieg. The message further goes on, stating that if the Canadians will not begin to repay the war debt, other punitive messages will be undertaken in order to raise the money needed to pay off the massive loans given to the Entente during the Weltkrieg. Its hoped that this will help secure NUP support from the isolationists who do not want to be deeply involved in global politics, while also giving the United States additional funding in order to combat the Great Depression.
