Personal Life

Otto Christian Archibald von Bismarck, Head of the House of Bismarck, grandson of Otto von Bismarck and elder brother of Gottfried Graf von Bismarck-Schönhausen. A lawyer, he became the owner of the family estate in Schönhausen and joined the diplomatic service in 1927, serving in Stockholm (1927–28), Union of Britain within London (1928–35).

This is his first month back after requesting to be reassigned back in Germany. His early political starts was as a member of the DkP and served as a Member of Parliament from 1924 to 1928. In 1933 he joined the German Fatherland Party, which he represented in the Reichstag alongside other great figures, however now, back in Germany he comes for a new prize.

The Pan-German League

Primarily dedicated to the German Question of the time, it holds positions on German imperialism, anti-semitism, the Polish Question, and support for German minorities in other countries. The purpose of the league was to nurture and protect the ethos of German nationality as a unifying force. By 1922, the League had grown to over 320,000 paying members. Berlin houses the central seat of the league, including its president and its executive, which was capped at a maximum of 300. Full gatherings of the league happen at the Pan-German Congress. Although numerically small in mainland Germany with much of its base spread across the colonies, the League enjoys a disproportionate influence on the German state through connections to the middle class, the political establishment and the media, as well as links to the 300,000 strong Agrarian League.

The organization was created in 1891 as a response to the Heligoland-Zanzibar Treaty. Ernst Hasse was its first president, and was succeeded by Heinrich Claß in 1908. A financial irregularity led to Claß resigning in 1917 and he was succeeded by retired Admiral Max von Grapow. It wasn't until 1928 that Heinrich Claß could return to power and now, in 1936, at the age of 68, Heinrich is eager to find a new #2. Otto Christian Archibald von Bismarck would be his man.

Taking the face and head of this exchange and due to Otto's staunch loyalty to Pan-German Ideas, Heinrich Claß has officially stepped down as Chairman of the Pan-German Congress. It would be only after a 30-minute vote that Prince Otto von Bismarck or simply, Bismarck the Second (Bismarck II) would be the new Chairman of the Pan-German Congress, Head of the Pan-German League.

DVLP Connections

After a meeting with Ernst Rohm and Chairman of the DVLP, Alfred Hugenberg, Prince Bismarck II would be greeted in the next election cycle as Minister within the Reichstag. It is hoped that due to his name, his connection and his grandfather's legacy that it would drive the DVLP's votes up to the nostalgics and to the nationalists at heart that weren't already a member. The big gains? The National Liberal Party, a Party that was founded on Bismarck's main tenants. If they can see his successor supporting the DVLP...?

It would be noted however that his antisemitism exists strongly within the Party's quota. He has already begun campaigning and has called to note that "the menace within our society will bring us to the brink of destruction! Germany must be saved.'
