DVLP

The Show of Force from the Volksgemeinschaft has been clear in the past few years. With the gain of more seats for the Fatherland Party and to contest the DkP's chosen formalities, a number of Ministers has come in armed with straight sabres and in full Weltkrieg Uniform. They are claiming it is their civil right to carry such an armament as it is the official uniform of the Kaiser and following his appearance a month ago, they, too, shall be authorized to wield sabre in parliament.

It is infact allowed in the Reichstag since its foundation, although it was meant to be an honorary occasion for dress-wear. Chairman Hugenberg, himself without a sabre, stated it was nothing more than a "display of German craftsmanship." After the initial appearance, the DVLP's ministers will not be seen with the blades any further, however upper echelons of the Party will be receiving such a sword.

Each Ehrendegen will be labeled on the pommel with the emblem of the DVLP's symbol.

In protest, the German Imperial Party has, too, shown up in full honor uniform equipped with the Pickelhaube and curved sabres. As a joke, Chairman Siegfried von Kardorff was photographed in such a uniform himself out of mockery of the DVLP's show of sabre and steel.
