So, you thought we were dead? Nah, we just had a very long siesta, now, back to Spain!
Uh... so, Ukraine wants to do a naval invasion... because reasons? Sure... why not?
Ukraine is able to seize the islands of Ibiza and Formentera islands off the Spanish coast near Valancia without much issue. However, when the time came to replicate the same success as the first naval invasion, Spanish defenders on the island of Menorca were able to spot the invasion force with the use of the Faro de Punta Nati lighthouse, allowing the Spanish time to gather their forces and set up makeshift defensive lines around the Ukrainian beachheads. While Ukrainian marines and subsequent waves were able to push back and take over Spanish positions on Menorca successfully with the heavy use of air support, a good proportion of the Ukrainian first wave was killed or wounded.
Losses: Spain: Literally two (and a half) good islands; 672 captured, 578 KIA/MIA Ukraine: Several An-2VCs had to be repaired in the field due to adverse weather conditions at the time of the invasion; 827 KIA, 294 WIA
Tl;dr: Spanish Republic owns Ibiza, Formentera and Menorca now... thanks to some Syndie bois.
Edit: Ukraine is able to begin training on roughly 27,000 CNT-FAI forces. Training is expected to be delayed due to the systematic lack of suitable translators to conduct wide-scale training efforts.
