With Germany's resources in the East threatened, a series of rationing of vital materials needed to continue and increase current levels of production have been initiated. Due to the abundant amount of food from the Ostpakt, war rationing of food and similar materials will be limited at best with provisions on oil, rubber, aluminum, tin, iron ore, coal and other important goods being put in place to make sure production lines do not run out of strategic materials. The Army, Navy and Air Force will begin heavy cooperation with companies similar to that achieved in the First Weltkrieg to manage production and push for greater efficiency in the production of equipment vital to the war effort.

A partial mobilization and general gearing up of the German economy has been authorized to help facilitate the industrial programs both in the future and in the present. Advertisements to buy war bonds have been placed all around Germany as the military begins to deploy its forces in response to the Japanese strike. Curfews and blackouts have been ordered for all of German East Asia with martial law being declared in Borneo, Malaya, Indochina and the German concessions in China to prevent radical elements of society from take advantage of the sudden attack.
