With details of the attack on Singapur Naval Base flooding into Berlin, the disarray of German forces both in the Pacific Theater and at home has been ultimately realized. While Germany has the industrial capacity to beat the Japanese, its current navy is too outdated and its supply lines stretch across the world. As such, the German government has announced the resumption of the 1934 Naval Plan and has ordered additional shipbuilding capability to be activated and retrofitted with new dockyards plan to be built in order to keep parity with the Japanese fleet.

The two battleships and two carriers of the 1934 Naval Plan are given highest priority, their construction to be initiated as soon as physically possible. In addition to these, forty new destroyers, fifteen new cruisers, five new battle cruisers, three new battleships and two additional carriers have been ordered by the German government for deployment in Asia in the soonest possible fashion. These new ships will utilize increased flooding protection, reinforced bulkheads, increased deck armor and additional damage control provisions to avoid undue losses in combat. These ships are expected to be paid for in full by war bonds flooding in the aftermath of the Japanese attack and soon to be invasions.
