The Chilean people are overjoyed at the success in the recent Argentine war, and happy to return to productive peacetime labour towards the betterment of the state and the people. To that end, a number of programs canceled during the war have been reinstated.
- International travel is now unrestricted.
- The Chilean National Airline, LAN-Chile, has resumed flights throughout the country as well as to destinations as far abroad as Buenos Aires, La Paz and Lima.
- Chilean rail service has resumed normal operation, including utilization of international rail links at Arica, Ollagüe, San Jose and other places, linking with destinations in Peru, Bolivia and Argentina.
- Chilean shipping is once again unrestricted along the Argentinian coast line.
- Chilean industry transitions back to peacetime operations.
- While our war-footing transition was only brief, it put a toll on our workers and government officials alike. As such, the first week of January was declared off for celebration of the Argentine victory.
- Chilean chairman Grove congratulated the head of the Army, General Blanché, in a formal ceremony in Santiago for victory in Argentina. A parade marched in review past Grove and Blanché down Avenue Libertador Bernardo O'Higgins, mostly composed of the victorious divisions of Cordoba and Mendoza.
The Chilean government expresses its gratitude to the International and Patagonian troops for their assistance in the gaining of victory, pushing the South American continent closer to full worker's revolution and Syndicalist control.
¡Viva la Revolución!
