The Bharatiya Commune is in a powerful position when it comes to industry. With large mineral wealth providing us with what we need to fuel steel manufacturing, with a gigantic labour force providing the means to run it, we could easily become an industrial superpower. Our colonisers and capitalist oppressors recognised this, constructing the largest steel mill in the entire former British Empire in the territory of the Bharatiya Commune. The State must now pursue a radical new economic policy. With vast sums of capital being extracted from the landlords and princes, with millions of unemployed workers in the cities and rural areas it is now possible to implement the plan of Nehru and Bose. First we must reorganise the industrial sector to be firmly under the control of the Central Government. This restructuring into a National Economic Planning system will be sped up by the emergency powers granted to the Chairman due to the conflict in the sub continent. The following State Enterprises will be created under the plan.

• Bharat Coal Industry

• Bharat Metallurgical Industry

• Bharat Chemical Combine

• Bharat Mechanical Engineering Bureau

• Bharat Oil Enterprise

• Bharat Agriculture Board

• Bharat Ordnance Organization

The Government will focus on moving millions of workers into paid employment in heavy industry and mining to help spur the massive expansion of Machine Tools manufacturing and Metallurgical Industry, specifically Steel and Iron. This will assist in the expansion of Ordnance production to support the Bharatiya Commune’s military rearmament. Furthermore the Mechanical Engineering Bureau will work with the Agriculture Board and Machine Tools Combine to begin manufacturing tractors and other assets needed for agricultural mechanization. This will free up additional labourers from the agricultural sector for industrial labour. Finally the Chemical Combine and Oil Enterprise will collaborate on increasing Fertiliser and Fuel production to increase yield as part of the Green Revolution we plan on undertaking.
