General Douglas MacArthur speaks to the nation!

President Hoover has lost the confidence of many in the nation, empowering the SPA and the AFP through his feeble attempts at negotiation. As a result of the Hoover Administration’s actions and the lack of, anarchy now reigns supreme on the streets as radical militias battle with each other.”

Arrest warrants are hand out as Federal agents secure President-Elect John S.Reed's residence. While his family is under lockdown, Reed himself was not at home. President Herbert Hoover however, is caught and is placed under house arrest.

The 1st “Big Red One” Infantry Division have stormed and occupied the White House, the United States Capitol Building, the United States Supreme Court Building, and all other prominent locations of governance in Washington D.C. Citing cooperation from the Federal Government, Chief of Staff MacArthur has begun a sudden, complete takeover of the apparatus of the state.

Senator Huey Long fled to his residence in New Orleans. The President-Elect's whereabouts is unknown.

The Emergency Administration under General Douglas MacArthur begins suppressing on dissent, citing 18 USC Sec. 2383. and 18 USC Sec. 2384. Within 30 minutes of the announcement, Washington D.C was secured.
