The Argentine Civil War resumes, spurred due to the Battle of Las Malvinas, as Argentine and Chilean forces clash over the defense of the Internationale convoys inbound for the FOP.

April

With the Argentine domestic situation in disarray, the war looked to be easily won by the socialists. Carles' forces failed to defend Bahia Blanca and was forced to retreat back to Buenos Aires, Mendoza is under threat by Chilean forces, who crossed the Andes unopposed. The only silver lining was the incredible charge by the Argentine 3rd Light Brigade, who managed to advance at a speed of 25km a day, mostly through their cavalry recon units, and to manage to create such a sufficient threat to the FOP lines that they have to pull certain forces up.

May

By May, Carles, the ARA and the rest of his forces are busy consolidating power to prepare for a defense against the socialists in Buenos Aires, until the Army forces arrive. Swiftly capturing Carles, General Ramirez is declared President and given Emergency Powers, and with the defeat of Carles, the Argentine Republic under President Ramirez now has a united front against the Red enemies. As the Patagonians fail to take Buenos Aires, the Chileans finally arrive on the southern front, and destroyed the 3rd Brigade threat.

June

June was a month of tug of war, as the 2 sides wrestled the upper hand over each other. The Argentine 5th and 6th advance caught the flank of the Patagonian forces unguarded, and managed to cut of the Patagonians from the Chileans at Bahia Blanca. Meanwhile in Las Pampas, the Argentine Army attacked, to which the Chileans held up well, and in the counterattack managed to further advanced the line north, however the Bahia corridor is still heavily defended. While the Patagonians do control the port of Mar del Plata, with Argentine cruisers still in the water operating from Buenos Aires, if the capital city isn’t taken in the next month then the Patagonian forces in the pocket will run out of supplies.

Total Casualties: British: 231 dead, 384 wounded American: 127 dead, 482 wounded French: 789 dead, 928 wounded Patagonian: 3,291 dead or wounded Chilean: 993 dead, 1121 wounded Argentina: 3,989 dead or wounded, 8,378 captured
