The collapse of the British Empire marked a turning point in global politics. If it were not for the ambitions of the German Empire, it might have meant freedom and prosperity for all the peoples of Asia. Instead, it has simply brought another kind of Tyranny to the people of Indochina.
In the Indian subcontinent itself, we saw the collapse of the British Raj with their remaining forces creating a puppet government centred around Delhi. In the south, we have a conglomeration of landlords desperately clinging to their power. Not to mention a German Ceylon and a Portugese colony in Goa.
The collapse of the British Empire has allowed for part of India to become truly free. In the Bharatiya Commune the people of Bengal and the Northwest have created a Syndicalist state. Soon India will be entirely free and then we can begin dismantling the last remnants of Colonial rule in Asia.
