On Friday I got fancy and wore my first full face of makeup in over a year to celebrate my state's lifting of mask mandates. Ended up with blepharitis.

That could very well be the culprit. My mascara tube is just about empty, probably has a lot of room for bacteria to grow in it.

Some bacteria made its way into my eyelash which then clogged whatever glands are up in there. I also have swollen lymph nodes or glands on my right neck under my ear as well, which my doc says is a coincidence. I believe it's connected, but I'm not a doctor. 🤷♀️

The only thing I'd hadn't used in the last year was foundation. I've occasionally used eye makeup, maybe one or twice every two weeks. The lipstick was purchased in March. I half expected to break out, not have eye problems!
