FWIW I know some restaurants that spice to taste use these little baggies for pre-measured amounts of spices, so they can easily adjust a dish from mild to spicy without having to grab tools and spice jars and do it all on the fly.

One time I ordered Pad Thai from my favorite Friday night spot and there was an entire fucking heavy duty paper towel like the ones they use to clean the counters after they close….it was soaked with sause and just looked like part of the noodles. I didn’t find till I was half way into it . 😵‍💫😡🤬🤯🤢🤮
