So, just like missing a workout or three or having that extra dessert, it's ok to sometimes slip a bit on our goals so long as we also skip the self-blame and get back to it.
I've been fighting this all weekend as I transition to daylight living for a few days to help someone through surgery. When I'm tired, I want carbs (read - junk) BAD. I've done a pretty good job minimizing the bad and exercising to make up for it (also, stress relief). Today, with good luck, I'm going to spend hours walking and talking and generally having a wonderful day before I completely blow my sensible eating to smithereens tonight (and I can't wait!).
So how did we all do this week? You know the drill, it's sharing time!
