Howdy! I'm from the states over here for a year and hoping to stay permanently in the near future. Just wanted to say hi and show a little appreciation. Been here for a couple months already but it's really great here. And the CBD is really cool, I love walking all up and down the streets, having some coffee from the different coffee joints. Barely any starbucks, LOTS of variety with who makes the coffee and how. The other week I went around and practiced some street photography and had a blast finding routes, takings pics, having some lunch. The public transportation is pretty sweet too, I've got myself a snapper card so I can hop around. Anyways, Welly is great and so is New Zealand in general. I don't regret making such a huge jump. Btw the food is great here. I might develop an addiction to pies now.
