I’ve been on Zoloft for over 4 years 25mg. And while it got rid of panic attacks and overall anxiety and depression. I became a hungry hungry hippo gained 30lbs and did not have any motivation. I felt like a shell of myself. Pretty numb.
I decided after reading this group that a lot of people combine that with Wellbutrin. So I told my doc and started it. It’s been 12 weeks and it’s completely CHANGED MY LIFE FOR THE BETTER! I feel complete. I don’t get rage the only side effect I get sometimes is dry mouth which I take electrolytes and drink pickle juice and that combats it. I cant recommend this medication enough! Started it was no problem either! I only had a couple days where I felt moody. But it’s all be up hill from there!
Just started 150SR today for combat ptsd. Removed the Trintellex which I’ve been on since 2018 which has been a life saver but ruins intimacy and orgasms. Even sensation if just numb. Stopped the nightmares which is good so hoping I get all the good side effects. Just had Covid bad so will be hard to tell what’s going right but so far today has been good just worked was super chilled. The anxious chatter has stopped in my head which feels nice. Just the soft hyper vigilance and flashbacks when I see a burka or old Toyota. So glad to see a positive story!
Do you do activities to naturally increase serotonin? Gym etc ? Walking or ice baths. Something that just makes you happy doing on your own. I found doing paint by numbers made me so happy. Never done that shit in my life haha I’m shit at it but I get these paintings done and then give them to my parents 😂 just horrible flowers and landscapes and the joy I get watching their faces be like “oh another shit painting” is priceless 😂😂 I’m like I know just the spot you can put it up at.

Yep SSRIs and SNRIs are similar but choose different chemical pathways to create a balance in your brain chemistry.
