Hello! I'm not a welder myself, but I'm trying to help my partner. He's looking to make a mount on his tag trailer to mount a 12,000lb winch. Will 1/4" A36 steel work? Any other guidance or suggestions or random ideas would be appreciated as well. Thanks!
