Welding schedule 40 pipe with flux core?
Post Body

Hi! Seeking advice. Running some 3” black iron pipes at my factory (water overflow so not pressurized) my pipe threader don’t take that big of pipe so I’m thinking welding it. I’m a decent flux cored welder but I never welded pipes and I’m not sure I can apply that to this project. Any advices? Is it doable? All my fittings will be sockets so I’m hoping it should be easy enough for me to do it Thanks
