So I am currently an apprentice in California as a millwright. One of my requirements is to get certified in 6g stick welding. I'm looking to buy a welder at home so I can practice but I have a few embarrassing questions to ask.
When welders say ac and dc will it work in my home because my house uses 110 ac right? Will it convert it to dc?
I have alot of people tell me don't even bother buying a welder if I only have 110 in my house. What is your opinion?
I know i can buy a more inexpensive stick unit but i really see myself wanting to do projects and eventually side work so i want to buy multiprocess machine. Pls comment.
Whether you think I should stick to a just stick unit or a multiprocess pls leave your suggestions on models to buy?
