Hi everyone,
I’ll be finishing my welding school program next week, so I’m reaching out for some advice on job hunting. I’ve applied to several positions on Indeed, but I find that many of my applications go unseen, not to mention there is not an overwhelming amount of job postings on there so I’m not even sure if it's the right place to look.
I’m open to any metalwork position to get my foot in the door. I’ve been searching for “entry-level welding jobs,” but are there other keywords I should consider? Should I also look for positions in brazing or cutting? I’m curious if those roles would help build my resume while I continue to seek welding jobs.
I’m particularly interested in going down the fabrication route, but at this point, I’m willing to take any opportunity to start my career.
Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks so much!
