So I’m a mechanic (truck/ equipment) and welding obviously goes with the trade .. however .. I am NOT a welder .. I stick things together or patch things up .. have fabricated the odd part but I would like to learn a little bit more about the welding side of things so I can up my fabrication game and learn a little more about metallurgy and proper machine set ups.. maybe go for a couple of tickets (Canada)

Wondering what sorts of book, trade and reference are currently the go to in the industry or for the welding trade schools or even some reference videos/ courses on the internet
