Iāve been self employed working for my family owned business for the last 12 years doing mobile welding work/fabrication, Iāve tried to keep my pricing competitive but I feel I donāt charge enough at 65/70hr for me to profit as much as Iād like to grow my business. I get steady work at this price and am afraid that if I raise my rates Iāll get less work, I know itās not oil field welding so I know I canāt charge 100hr but Id like to be around 80/85hr, Iām curious to what others charge for mechanical piping. I mainly do subcontracting work. From what Iāve seen from the ācompetitionā in Ohio our welds/work is far superior. Figured Iād see what people here think before I go upsetting customers with rate increases lol. Thanks guys! š Added a couple of work pictures just to give an idea of what we are capable of.
