The Narrator by Michael Cisco
Post Body

I have just reading this book and find myself with some thoughts and questions I am not sure how to form.

We have Predicaten and Edeks. The former seem to show up on both sides of the war and as pawns of a long dead civilization that has seemingly also been consumed by war. The latter only seem to serve the Alaks empire and act as some enforcement of laws if they see you. I am not yet sure what to make of that.

We have an ancient civilization wiped out by a war with as much propose as the current war in this book and spirits that do not seem interested in setting out for the next one.

Is Saskia's mother the Cannibal Countess?

I am sorry if this seems disjointed but when it come to Cisco, the best I can do at times is grasp at straws. Does anyone else have something to offer by way of trying to better know this book?
