Is it wrong for me to start weight training while trying to lose weight?
Post Body

A little background...

Started on the 1st of January at 318-325ish (last time I got weighted was September 2018 and I was at 313.4 I know i gained more weight Since then which is why I’m estimating)

I have been doing a calorie count for my food 2286 cal for each day

I go to the gym M,T,W,F,Sat With my rest day being Th,Sun For my work outs I do cardio for two miles Then do lifting and other muscle exercises I have been gaining muscle legs 🦵 and I have noticed some definition in my arms (which got me excited not gona lie)

Since then I have gone down to 292/290 it fluctuates daily Should I just strictly focus on my diet and do light cardio or should I keep the way I’m going...

I’m just afraid of loosing all this weight and having all the excess skin when I’m done (my goal is 170/180)
