Over the past few days I've been reminded how far I've come, which isn't too far, I'm only 34lbs down and another 45lbs to go, But...
My 13 year old daughter hugged me and commented on how 'skinny' I'm getting.
My boss is visiting the office next week, and in a panic that my new smaller sized work trousers won't arrive on time, I tried on an old dress and my partner had a huge grin and said 'wow'.
A pair of my comfy pyjamas with an elasticated waist was hanging off my waist this morning. Same with a pair of leggings that 3 months ago fit me perfectly.
It just made me appreciate the support I get, and kept me motivated to keep going.
What keeps you all going? It can get hard and frustrating sometimes, but you can do it.
I love how I feel, the extra weight never feels good on me. I'm short (5'2) so any extra weight on me makes me look like a whole other person. I actually went on a run today and noticed how I felt lighter than usual. It was awesome! Of course, having my clothes fit better helps too. I am kind of obsessed with bettering myself, so I really just enjoy putting in the work to take care of myself. I do allow myself to have treats and lazy days I just make sure its not too often. Most of the time when I see a soda nowadays I think about if drinking the soda would bring me farther or closer to my goal... Most of the time I choose the healthy option and then occasionally I get my nice, sweet drink. I'm always proud of my decision to be healthy.
