Hello so I am pretty overweight and have been working for a little bit now to exercise and lose weight. I have a 6 day workout schedule at the gym but today is my off day and I usually only do cardio on my off days. I am not a big fan of jogging and I find walking boring but I read online that 30-60 minutes of basketball outside could have the same benefits as walking or jogging 30 minutes on the treadmill. I decided to give it a try today since I love basketball and have a hoop at my house, however about 15 minutes in I had to stop and go back inside as my heart was beating extremely fast and causing me a lot of pain. I assume the problem is Iโm overweight and donโt have the endurance to run and jump for 30 minutes straight. Iโm wondering what I should do to build up that endurance so that I can last 30 longer while playing sports.
