Wife Mistaken for Being Pregnant

Over the summer, my wife has packed on a LOT of weight. It's kind of a surprise to me, but not one that I don't love. I haven't been encouraging it, really, just letting her do what she wants to do and going along with all of her indulgences.

We have an electronic smart scale and my phone syncs with it. She hadn't been weighing in for most of the summer and got on it over the weekend. She was 262 pounds. That is a gain of almost 50 pounds since April! I really couldn't believe it! But that's not where this story really goes.

We went out over the weekend for lunch. She was wearing one of her favorite dresses. At this point, it's really, REALLY tight across her middle and breasts. To be honest, it shows a lot more cleavage than she ever would have a couple of years ago. But that belly! I wish I'd gotten a picture of it.

So we finish our meal and she gets up. Her hands kind of run over her belly to settle her dress. The server comes by and as we're leaving looks at her tummy and says, "Oh! Congratulations!" with a huge smile and walks off. My wife is confused. I'm not. We get out into the parking lot and she looks at me in horror.

"She thought I was pregnant?!" She practically shouted it. I calmed her down with a chuckle and a joke. She started talking about working out but then changed the subject to picking up ice cream on the way home.

It's so sexy and hot I don't know who else to tell. So here I am! Here's hoping that she "forgets" the scale for another 6 months.
