Is anyone else experimenting with how long they can fast?
Post Body

For context: my entire life, I've been constantly hungry- not the "bored/thirsty" hungry, like... actual real hunger. If I went for 3 or 4 hours without eating a decently large meal, my blood sugar would drop and I'd feel incredibly sick. I would try SO hard to make it past 4 hours without eating, but would feel so nauseas, dizzy and disoriented that I would have to eat to remain functional. My hunger cues would also (not always, sometimes) mimicked migraine symptoms- nausea, headache, lightheaded, tunnel vision, etc.

This obviously led to weight gain, since I had to be eating a full meal with fiber, fat and protein every 4 hours to stay functional. 🙃

Starting Wegovy has been LIFE CHANGING- I feel like I can finally eat like a normal person! And if I'm hungry, I can wait! My first sign of hunger is not a doomsday countdown to feeling like I'm going to pass out. It's amazing!

So this has kind of led to me experimenting with myself and seeing how long I can go without eating, and how few calories I can eat in a day. I've found that I can go 8 hours if I'm awake (and ate a good combination of fiber and protein before), or go 12 hours if I'm sort of just laying around and napping throughout the day.

As far as daily calorie intake my record low is 531 as of last Friday- please note that this is not a daily thing! I'm over my calorie budget some days, under others.

Basically, after being trapped in a body where I HAD to overeat, I'm just kind of experimenting around to see what I can do. Has anyone else done this?
