Hi all! Had to postpone our 2021 wedding to next year and finally excited to start dress shopping this summer now that we’re fully vaccinated! I’m really into the bridal/wedding experience so I was hoping to pick one day where I can go to two bridal shops (and have an outdoor brunch in between!) with my mom, grandma, sister, and future MIL and SILs—7 of us including me—hopefully they’ll allow it by late summer. I do think I want to visit RK bridal because of their extensive collection in my ~$1,200 budget range (they carry a lot of the dresses that I’ve bookmarked to try on!). However, it would be nice to go to another bridal shop that morning that would provide more of that intimate experience. I could be wrong but from pictures and comments from others it seems like RK bridal is kind of dark, busy and warehouse-looking. Would love and appreciate any recommendations of places within the 5 boroughs that are more warm, cozy, bright, cute, etc.! Any places that you loved with nice seating, allowing for a more private experience for a group? I know some are offering special private appointments but they can be so expensive to reserve! Schone Bride in Brooklyn seemed like it would’ve been a good option but it has since closed!
Thank you!!!
