My FH and I are getting married soon in a simple ceremony (the bare minimum needed to make it legal) in Alaska (we love here), but at a future (unknown) date we will have a proper ceremony and reception in my home state where my family and a lot of friends are. This will be after it is safe to travel and gather in large numbers again.
Anyway, I’m a planner, so I’m working on details of the ceremony I don’t have a date for. Cest Le vie. One thing I am struggle with is what to do with my flower girls. I already have the two girls selected (they are sisters who are 7&10; their mother is also one of my bridesmaids). I have their dresses picked out, but I’ve never liked the idea of flowers being thrown and I’m not keen on bubbles. Do you have any suggestions for an alternative to flowers or bubbles? The ceremony will most likely be at the church my parents and grandparents were married at (FH and I are not religious, but my family is) and the reception is still TBD, but my mother and godmother are scoping out a new hotel resort in the area.
