So far I’ve refused to go dress shopping. Dress shopping in general is a disaster for me. Nothing ever fits and end up getting so defeated I can’t stop crying.

When my MOH was getting married I when with her, and she tried to get me to try something on but the shop had not one thing that fit me.

Buying a bridesmaids dress at a shop out of state, I had to call with my measurements. The owner told me my size and that they’d have to special order and then made fun of me.

I haven’t tried ever again. I know I have to try something on, but I’d rather cancel the whole spectacle (not the marriage) than go dress shopping. I’d love some fat bride success stories or suggestions on where you went shopping.
